November Field Trip Highlights

From candle-making to sign-making...

from writing with a goose feather and ink to drying it off with sand...

to making a pinched clay candle holder and a silhouette,
the students had a ton of fun while learning about life in Colonial times.

Look who is kicking it "old school" just like Greg.

Was life  better in the old days?
That’s the question Greg Heffley is asking as his town voluntarily unplugs and goes electronics-free. But modern life has its conveniences,
and Greg isn’t cut out for an old-fashioned world.
With tension building inside and outside the Heffley home,
will Greg find a way to survive? Or is going “old school” just too hard for a kid like Greg?
By reading this novel and being off electronics,
these students and many others in 4-2
are kicking it old school just like the main character
in the latest release of Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
