August 1st

August Already!

I can't believe it is August already!

I love summer but  have started to think about going back to school!

What will I miss about summer? One thing is definitely spending time outside in my garden. Another thing that I will miss is all the time to try new recipes and create fun desserts for my family and friends. Besides this, I have been reading all the books I didn't get a chance to read the last few months plus a few new releases. Some titles I just finished are Marvel, The Land of Stories 4, and Storybound.

Some of the few things I have been busy whipping up this summer. 

Believe it or not the chick pea chocolate chip cookies were amazing 

along with the chocolate chia seed pudding.

Students Become the Teacher

spirit week theme of Fashion Disaster.

A beautiful day to grab a book and enjoy the outdoors.

Symmetry

Today after learning about the line of symmetry, 

the students had the chance to create 

symmetrical designs using pattern blocks 

and a ruler to represent the line of symmetry.

Beautifying Wenonah

This past week, I stayed after to school to prep and paint the door frame 

into our classroom as well as a few others down the intermediate hallway. 

Purple is the perfect color in my opinion. 

Hopefully, I will be in this room for a few more years!
